Dune Oil (DUNE.CN) Director Jay Park Discusses the M47 Light-Oil Opportunity in Turkiye's Zagros Basin

Malibu, CA, Sep 17, 2026 AEST (ABN Newswire) - In this interview, Ellis Martin speaks with Jay Park, KC, a director of Dune Oil Corp. (googlechartCNSX:DUNE) (googlechartDUNXF:OTCMKTS) (googlechartZ621:FRA), about the company's M47 oil project in southeastern Turkiye.

Park is a veteran international energy lawyer and adviser whose career has included upstream oil and gas transactions and energy projects in more than 50 countries. He has advised governments, state oil companies, explorers, producers, pipeline companies, financial institutions and international agencies.
The discussion examines why Turkiye's concession-based petroleum regime, growing regional infrastructure and substantial demand for domestically produced energy may create an attractive environment for oil exploration and development.

Dune Oil has an agreement to earn a 29% working interest in the approximately 450-square-kilometre M47 Block in the Cudi-Gabar petroleum province of the Zagros Basin.

An independent NI 51-101 evaluation assigned approximately 27.6 million barrels of net 2C contingent resources to Dune's interest in the North Discovery. Contingent resources are not reserves and do not have demonstrated commerciality.

Park discusses the planned re-entry of the Cetinkaya-1 well, where 38 metres of net oil pay were encountered before drilling was suspended following lost circulation. Approximately 160 metres of potential reservoir section remained untested, according to the company's technical disclosure.

The interview also explores the additional prospects identified across M47, the rapid increase in oil production from neighbouring fields and the technical and operational milestones that could move the project toward development and production.
